3dpBurner2 Front Legs Combined With Idler Mounts
thingiverse
For Dual Y Motors on the 3DPBurner2 Only! The original front legs were combined with the original base idler mounts, making installation and alignment significantly easier. To simplify this process even further, use my custom drill templates: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3882654 I designed this setup to eliminate bolt holes that previously disrupted belt idler mounts, creating a narrower profile that allows for an all-in-one control panel on my machine, which uses a 12"x24" (10"x20" working size) base. A secondary benefit of dual Y motor installation is increased space in the middle of the machine for installing electronics between belts. These mounts push belts out to their maximum distance, providing even more room between belts and motors. These mounts still utilize 8mm rods, but I have a newer corner post that employs 10mm rods and bearings for reduced flex when building with longer Y axes. You'll also need the uprights housing LM10UU bearings; find more information in the Facebook group link below. The new V2.5 design eliminates heavy threaded rods and nuts used to adjust belt holders on cross-rod threads, as the entire bridge has been completely redesigned with no adjustments necessary. 3DP Laser Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1954363414864763 Join this group to see the exciting mods I'm working on!
