3DP minisax / xaphoon / pocketsax
thingiverse
3D printed variant of MiniSax found at minisax.com similar to maui xaphoon or pocketsaxes Wanted to start playing sax. Liked the one at minisax.com but didn't wanna spend $100 on a stainless steel tube. Besides the 3DP sax that this is remixed from there weren't a lot of 3DP options here so I wanted to have a crack at my own. Intonation is pretty good I traced from several images trying to take into account image distortion. Not sure if top holes are off or my noob embouchure is the problem. Hopefully a real saxophone player / reed instrument player can test it out for me and let me know in the comments! Inspired by (and mouthpiece stolen from): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3290629 For info on how to print the files starting with 3DPminiSax_"part_name" visit the link above. Reeds: up to you, tenor and alto sax reeds fit. I use a 2.0 size because its the lowest strength reed available.
