You are looking at an ongoing project.Especially designed for 2 lane home tracks with restricted space.Lap counter is designed for dead-strips but can easily be changed for photo-resistors means of detection and alike.The casing and accessories are pretty much ready.Just the coding is left to finish (90% finished at this point).The list of electronic hardware:x1 Raspberry Picox1 Pimoroni Pico_Protox1 16x4 LCD w/ I2C modulex1 5V Voltage regulator + USB cable (optional as you can simply power the PICO using a USB cable)x2 channel relay board.x2 10k, 220 ohms resistorsx2 4n35 optocouplersx2 push buttonsx2 3 pin 2 Amp socketx2 4mm Banana socketsExternal power supply (12V recommended)Wires and more wires!Screws:In this build I've been using M3 screwsand general purpose 2mm screws for plastic.Chances are, I've probably missed to mention a couple of details. But later on, I will update this description with a step by step guide.
