# 3Domnivore Robot ## Quick Overview This entirely 3D printed robot showcases ten motors and custom miniature gearboxes made from 3D printed parts. The robot demonstrates the potential of 3D printing technology. All components, including over 100 parts and tooling costs, total less than $500. ## Links For more information, videos, and resources to build similar robots visit: https://www.3domnivore.org The PCB was designed using Circuit Maker and can be downloaded at: https://circuitmaker.com/Projects/Details/Nicolas-Besuchet/3DomnivoreRobot ## Details An open-source 3D printed robot that you can build, modify, or use as inspiration. We've lacked affordable tools to bring our ideas to life. Online 3D printing services simplify mechanism building. We want to prove this with the 3Domnivore robot. The robot features ten motors and a custom compound planetary reducer made from 3D printed parts. Custom potentiometers were designed for PID control. ## Current Project Status Robot fully assembled. Testing battery-powered operation (instead of voltage generator) is pending. Issues with programming and possibly the Arduino Mega exist. The mechanics are reliable, but electronics need further development.
