This is a highly advanced 3-dof CNC machine, boasting a novel application of 3D printed linear bearings in its X and Y axis designs. The machine features an ingenious modular framework with remarkably few distinct parts, thus allowing it to easily be scaled up in size without requiring excessive redesign or replacement of key components. Following several months of diligent work, the majority of the initial prototype has now been fully assembled and a substantial redesign is presently underway to refine critical elements along the Z axis as well as components dedicated to securely mounting the Y axis onto its base plate. A comprehensive Sketchup file accompanies this project, showcasing all relevant plastic parts in detailed clarity and efficiently organizing axis-related components into user-friendly groupings. In addition to this invaluable visual aid, an official materials declaration is also included, offering critical insight for informed planning and potential duplication of the project.
