Work in Progress: First files and pictures of the miniCNC 3dmaker system are up online. The project is still underway and may undergo changes. www.3dmaker.systems Instructions for use: The miniCNC utilizes NEMA 17 motors and T2 belts. Electronics can vary, but a Pibot CNC board or a standard Arduino Uno with the Ramps shield using Marlin firmware work well. On my board I run GRBL firmware, and Universal G-Code Sender on PC acts as control software. Aluminum profiles are available in 20 x 20 mm and 20 x 40 mm dimensions, OpenBuilds being my preferred choice but other brands can also be used.
