3DLaserSpool - 3D-printer Filament refill spool

Based on the awesome idea from RichRap:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2769823\r\n\r\nThis is a lasercut version of the masterspool.\r\n\r\nI chose a design with 3 single parts for several reasons:\r\n1. Reduced printing time.\r\n2. Less filament used.\r\n3. Simple 3D printing, ideal even for smaller printers.\r\n4. Flexible roll width achieved through simple extrusion of the core drum.\r\n\r\nDrawback:\r\nIn addition to the 3D printer, you also need a laser cutter.\r\nThe two side parts can be produced with various tools such as routers, CNC milling machines, jigsaws, etc.\r\n\r\nThe 3d printing part has become incredibly simple. Every printer can produce it easily.\r\n\r\nMaterial:\r\nFor the core:\r\napproximately 85g filament at 15% filling, printing time 3-4h\r\n\r\nThe two side parts:\r\n5mm plexiglass, acrylic, MDF etc.\r\n\r\nThree M5x65 (70) or M6x65 (70) threaded rods\r\nThree butterfly valves M5 or M6\r\n\r\nAll holes are for M6 screws. M5 would be sufficient. However, it's easier to get M6 in length.\r\n\r\nExample for filament manufacturer (in Germany)\r\n\r\nhttps://www.dasfilament.de/filament-refill/pla-1-75-mm/283/pla-filament-1-75-mm-kirschrot-refill-850-g?c=52\r\n\r\n\r\nThis design is intended for a 850g roll with 46..47mm width and an inside radius of 102mm.\r\nI hope there will be rolls with 2..3kg filament soon.\r\nIf so, I'll adapt the design accordingly.\r\nThe inner drum can be easily adjusted by extrusion in the slicer.
