The lightweight 3DFly electronics frame has been reimagined, providing a sturdy base for most micro brushed quad components that utilize 8.5mm motors. After adding a micro fpv setup to the original Hovership 3DFly design, it became painfully apparent that the addition resulted in a cumbersome and sluggish flight performance. Fortunately, this revamped frame boasts an impressively low weight of just 7 grams when printed using PLA material under my established settings. A notable improvement has been observed with regards to the power-to-weight ratio of the quad, making it more agile and responsive. With even more finesse, it could be optimized further by using a lighter adhesive solution, like less hot glue. Print Settings Details: I utilized an Electron3D Prusa I3 printer model to achieve the desired print results. Key Configuration Settings: Rafts were not employed during this particular print run. No support material was added to the frame structure. A resolution of 0.3mm was selected for a crisp, detailed finish. For added durability and strength, a uniform infill pattern with a density level of 25% was implemented. Custom Cura settings include: Shell Thickness: 0.4mm for added protection Bottom/Top Thickness: 0.3mm to create a strong yet minimalistic design
