3DConnexion 3D Mouse Hardcase

Update: I'm relieved no one has downloaded Version 4 yet, as a mistake slipped through Sketchup after printing. Thankfully, Version 5 is now upgraded and fixed. This case was designed for a 3DConnexion 3D Mouse, often referred to as "the Puck". To create a suitable case, I needed to relieve the springs of the "puck" from being compressed and worn when carrying it in my backpack. The case requires 1mm thick foam on the inside to secure the mouse with pressure fit (as seen in the yellow material in the photos). I didn't have a single large piece of foam, which would look nicer, but I worked with what I had. The case doesn't touch the "floating puck", instead sitting on the ring surrounding it, which needs foam to prevent scratching the plastic. The 3D mouse is friction fit inside, and through the front hole you can see the logo while also accessing the mouse by simply pulling it out of the case. A bottom isn't needed for simplicity, lightness, and minimal size. Design thoughts and potential improvements: This is Version 5 of the design, but it's not perfect (I would have liked to round over some sharp edges). Hopefully, the edge around the hole for cable access isn't too short for the cable. Maybe someone can come up with a better solution or even an integrated way to wrap the cable. A small lip at the bottom on the inside could give it a bit of a "click fit", but that's something to experiment with.
