I had a blast troubleshooting my 3D prints with 3DBenchy, and I must say it's an amazing torture test. One thing that really gave me trouble was getting the chimney stack to print cleanly. Unfortunately, I couldn't verify whether slicer changes were making a difference until the very end of the print. To speed up my troubleshooting process, I cut out the roof and chimney to isolate the problem area. Big thanks go out to 3DBenchy for creating such an awesome torture test object.
