Water produced can replenish the water cycling unit or be broken down into oxygen and hydrogen through electrolysis, refilling oxygen and fuel reserves. In the longer term, tanks of algae process collected carbon dioxide back into usable O2 and fixed carbon in a mostly passive process, supplying colony needs.
