3DAD Antweight (1lb) Combat Robot

I completely revamped the body to make it even more robust and capable. The bot still relies on a brushless 2204 motor, but I think a 2205 will also work well. I still have some fine-tuning to do on the weapon holder to help it spin smoother, but it works perfectly so far. The drive system is similar to my other fairyweight bots, using small motors instead of the servos in my original Amazon Home Depot bot. All of the components can be sourced from Amazon or Home Depot. Amazon OrangeRx R610 V2: https://amzn.to/2PKfDu4 Or Flysky receiver https://amzn.to/35qxL4k N20 motors are used, which simply slide into the motor mounts and are held securely without screws. https://amzn.to/2AXnXAW (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12MM-N20-Reduction-Metal-Mini-Micro-DC-3v-6v-12v-Electric-Geared-Motor-For-RC-Car/32770564311.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.210c4c4dt0i33b). Two 300rpm, 500rpm or 600rpm motors can be used, corresponding to a 50:1/30:1 gear ratio. 10a Brushed Motor Speed Controller https://amzn.to/2AZFGaZ 50mm wheels: https://amzn.to/35rCQcH or https://www.banggood.com/custlink/D3KKeFm2ef Crazepony Emax MT2204: https://amzn.to/2R0XnwK ZTW Mantis 12A BEC 2-4S LiPo RapidESC: https://amzn.to/2PNdQ7I or 15a tslim (https://www.banggood.com/ZTW-Mantis-Slim-15A-SBEC-Brushless-ESC-Speed-Controller-For-RC-Models-p-1247457.html?p=@T25030878732012108C) 2s Lipo batteries: https://amzn.to/2CUCvVb or from HobbyKing directly. Screw the motor onto the body. Press fit the motor mount onto the motor. Cut the 20 gauge strap to size and epoxy it to the top of the slanted edge as shown. I also included an on-off switch that was hot glued on the bottom of the bot to be easily accessible. I simply took one of the switches from the ESCs.
