This is part of a series of 30 exercises developed during the 3D4KIDS program, which aims to boost teachers' knowledge about 3D printing technology through training materials. For more information, visit https://www.3d4kids.eu/ The lesson focuses on designing and printing a 3D map of Mediterranean islands, giving students a clear understanding of their geographic position and location. This exercise will also help them grasp the size of major Mediterranean islands, their territorial structure, and differences and similarities between them. The specific islands in focus are Sicily and Sardinia from Italy, Cyprus and Corsica from France. By completing this task, students will gain hands-on experience with 3D printing techniques.
