The lesson focuses on designing and printing a compass to understand how to navigate geographical space using mental maps and cardinal points. To master this skill, students will learn to pinpoint main physical geographic features (mountains, rivers, lakes) and human-made structures (cities, ports, airports, infrastructures) on maps by utilizing the compass.
