First, you'll need to 3D print the necessary files and add supports for the sheep design during printing. Next, place the printed sheep on the spool's frontage, securing it with super glue if necessary. Be sure to position them exactly as shown in the accompanying picture to ensure a precise fit between the hexagon pins and the hexagonal pattern. Insert the bearing into both the bottom and top parts of the assembly, then slide these components onto the rod. Carefully push the spool with the sheep on top into place. Your assembly is now complete! Now for the more challenging part: capturing the zoetrope effect requires matching your camera's shutter speed to the spinning speed of the project. To test this, simply start recording and manually spin the zoetrope until it begins to slow down; at this point, you'll experience the effect for a brief second. However, the outcome is truly remarkable. Feel free to experiment with adjusting the zoetrope using a stepper motor and transferring gears to achieve a constant speed that can be easily matched to your camera's shutter.
