To extract textures from a .skp file, follow these steps with appropriate software: 1) In Sketchup (free), export as a 2D file under File/Export/2d Graphic; 2) In C4D (trial version sufficient), import .skp file and find generated texture folder; 3) In 3ds Max, import .skp file and locate textures in ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages; or export fbx with embed media option selected; 4) In Rhinoceros 3D (trial version sufficient), import .skp file, access material editor, select material with texture, click three-dot button on texture name, and locate textures in ..AppDataLocalTempembedded_files directory. Feel free to relocate the extracted textures.
