3D Texture - Cellular

This series of volumetric objects was created to showcase the differences between polygon and volume-based object representations. The 8-bit, non-tiling texture has a resolution of 256x256x256 voxels. PLY and STL isosurface meshes are also included, along with AVI versions featuring fading edges. The data was generated by rendering the results of sweeping a plane through a procedural texture. Formats available include zipped RAW data (16MB uncompressed) and BMP sequence (17MB uncompressed).
