3D Systems Sense Mount
thingiverse
A sleek two-part device designed to house a Sense 3D scanner with panache. The University Innovation Campus is where I attend school; feel free to modify the design to suit your own style and preferences. Regarding the images, I ran out of filament, which is why some fingers are missing from the print. A word of advice: always have sufficient filament on hand to avoid such mishaps. Printer Settings: Printer: Dremel 3D40 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: Not required Resolution: Set at 0.200 mm for optimal results Infill: Use a density of 20% for added stability Notes: A resolution of 0.300 mm would also produce excellent results. Alternatively, reducing the infill density to 15% might yield a lighter print with minimal loss of structural integrity. I opted to generate supports for my print due to the gap required for the stand to fit in place. However, if you're willing to wait, printing at a slower pace can help avoid removing unnecessary supports altogether.
