3D Systems Cube3 Spool Poppers

If you've ever tried to disassemble a 3D Systems Cube3's cartridge spool, you know just how infuriating it can be. Unwinding all that filament is an eternity compared to what lies ahead. This handy tool, multiplied by 12, allows you to separate the spool shells for whatever reason you may need to do so. I performed this task to quickly empty a large number of spools for B2B modifications. I printed these using five walls (virtually solid in CubePrint) with PETG (Ekocycle slicer with file update for Cube3). You can insert these into the slots of the cartridge spool even if it's full of filament. Once all 12 clips are seated, you should be able to separate the two halves. edit: I added a .cube3 file set in ABS for two pieces. These should work in any material. I prefer this PETG because it's tough and has outstanding layer adhesion. Note that the original slicer for this file was Ekocycle from within the CubePrint 4.03 app [offline printer].
