3D Systems Cube Printer Alternate Filament Arm
thingiverse
An alternative design I found bypasses the Cube's cartridge, feeding filament directly from a side-mounted roll. An integrated feed guide and supportive leg ensure stability; however, tape is recommended for added security against vibration-induced loosening. After completion, photos will be posted. Initially, my design was too thick but has been improved with a thinner version that maintains functionality. I printed this on an R2X at .27 layer height, 25% fill, and 2 shells; ear rafts were necessary due to a corner curl issue. Note that individual machines may require additional adjustments, including ear placement, as the print features a large footprint.
