I've been obsessed with Space Hulk since the mid 90's. It was this game that sparked my passion for Warhammer 40k, and I've always dreamed of crafting a 3D board. This is what drew me into 3D printing in the first place. I designed my board based on one I discovered online, but I created all my sections from scratch using my own unique designs. It's tailored to fit the miniatures in the latest edition of the game, and allows for seamless integration with doorways at any point. It took me a focused six weeks of diligent printing to assemble all the parts that came with the set. I once attempted to sell these designs on Kickstarter, but it was a disastrous decision - they clearly needed significant refinement. The sections lack a connecting mechanism (I'm planning to make them OpenLock compatible in the future), and they require an exterior texture to break up their bland appearance. Additionally, the sections need more detailed decorations to bring them to life. I've recently stumbled upon some fantastic components from SevenUnited that will elevate these designs to the next level.
