2 color model of a necklace for Burning Man 2014. Print, drill 2 holes in the ends, and connect your chain or cord, tie a knot and stick it around your neck! I was having trouble getting the holes to look nice, thus the drilling step... Instructions Steps used to create this: 1) Record audio 2) Capture image of audio waveform, blur it, and use levels to get it to look nice. 3) Create mesh in Blender, add displace modifier, use image from step #2. 4) Fiddle with shapes & booleans to make necklace shape, subtract the audio "mountains" from the necklace. 5) Create text, convert to mesh, subtract from bottom of necklace (flipping around so it reads right) If you'd like more detailed instructions, I can make a video to show all the steps I took.
