Saving money has never been easier, thanks to 3D Solutech's affordable Master Spool refills. However, printing spool halves from scratch can be a frustrating waste of time and filament. That's why I take a few minutes to print the two hubs separately, then glue them onto salvaged reel end pieces. With just a hacksaw, you can cut off the excess hub and reuse it with your newly printed hub halves. By doing so, you'll save even more money on filament costs. To get started, simply download and print both MS1_Hub and MS2_Hub files, then screw them together to create your new Master Spool reel. Cement or glue the hubs onto salvaged end caps from an old empty reel of filament, and you're good to go.
