3D Shadow - Tree 48

How often do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow to enhance your design's realism? How many times have you struggled to extract a convincing shadow from an object, only to fall short? The truth is, shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate - and that's because they simply aren't solid! But fear not, we've got the solution for you. We've crafted 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion built-in to make your workflow a breeze. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects master, compositor or 3D artist looking to add depth to your scene, our shadows are the perfect tool for you - and easy to use, too! They contain everything you need to create a stunningly realistic look for your project. Our images were rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles (25°, 45°, and top) in various directions; we saved two versions of each shadow - one hard for sunny scenes, the other soft for cloudy scenes. Both are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects, plus they're noiseless. Just pick the shadow that fits your design best, apply it to your object, and use a deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect to deform the shadow as needed. (Video tutorials are included.) You can even mix hard and soft shadows to match your scene's lighting conditions - the choice is yours! And remember, a shadow is just that: it won't change its fundamental nature no matter what you do.
