How often do you struggle to create a realistic shadow in your designs? How many times have you tried extracting a shadow from an object, only to be left frustrated by the lack of success? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they don't have solid forms. However, we've found a solution that makes it easier for designers, cartoon artists, visual effects artists, compositors, and 3D artists to add realistic shadows to their scenes. We've created 100% transparent shadows with ambient occlusion to simplify the process. Whether you're working on a design, animation, or visual effects project, these shadows are designed to help you achieve a realistic look without sacrificing quality. They contain everything you need to create stunning visuals, and they're easy to use. The images we've used were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from the top - in multiple directions. We also saved two versions of each shadow: one for sunny scenes and another for cloudy scenes. You can choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are included.) Feel free to mix and match hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadows are always a challenge, but with these transparent shadows, you'll be able to achieve the look you want without struggling.
