How often do designers and artists struggle to create a realistic shadow in their work? We've all been there - trying to extract a convincing shadow from an object, only to end up with a disappointing result. Shadows can be finicky because they're not solid objects, after all. That's why we created 100% transparent shadows, complete with Ambient Occlusion to make your life easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects specialist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are for you and incredibly easy to use. They contain everything you need to give your project a realistic look. Our images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. We captured shadows from different angles - 25°, 45°, and straight on - in multiple directions, and saved two versions of each shadow: a hard version for sunny scenes and a soft version for cloudy scenes. These shadows are perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're completely noise-free. Just choose the shadow that suits your design, apply it to the object, and then use any deformer tool - like the Transform tool in Photoshop or the Corner Pin effect in After Effects - or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix and match between hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. And remember, a shadow is just that - it's not going anywhere!
