How often do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How many times have you wanted to extract a shadow from a real object, only to come up empty-handed? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they're not solid objects. That's where we come in! We've created 100% transparent shadows with ambient occlusion to make your life easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to their scene, these shadows are for you and are ridiculously easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles (25°, 45°, and straight-on) in multiple directions, resulting in two versions of shadow from each object: one hard shadow for sunny scenes and another soft shadow for cloudy scenes. They're perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect (or their equivalents in other software) to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) Remember, you can mix and match between hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, a shadow is a shadow – it's not going anywhere!
