How often do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow to make your design look more realistic while working on it? How frequently have you tried extracting a shadow from a real object, only to be left disappointed and without success? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they aren't solid. The good news is that we've come up with the solution! We've created 100% transparent shadows, complete with Ambient Occlusion to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or even a 3D artist, and you need to add a shadow to your scene, these shadows are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadows from each object: one is a Hard shadow used in sunny scenes, and the other is a soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. These shadows are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) Note: You can mix between Hard and Soft shadows as you like, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, remember that a shadow is always a shadow - it never changes.
