How many times have you wished for a separate flat shadow to enhance the realism of your design? How often have you struggled to extract a shadow from an actual object, only to fall short? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they're not solid objects. Here's the solution! We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your work. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to achieve a realistic look for your project. The images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. Two versions of shadow were saved from each object: one is a hard shadow used in sunny scenes, and the other is a soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. They're perfect for use in 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or its equivalent in any other software) to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you see fit - this depends on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, remember that a shadow is a shadow and will never change.
