How many times do designers need a realistic shadow to complete their design? How often do artists struggle to extract a convincing shadow from an object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they aren't solid objects. Fortunately, the solution is here! We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion, designed to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects expert, compositor, or 3D artist in need of a realistic shadow for your scene, these are exactly what you need. The images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles - 25°, 45°, and top-down views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one hard shadow for sunny scenes and one soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These shadows are perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects and come without noise. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are included). You can mix hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. Shadows remain a constant in every design.
