How often do you need a separate flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How many times have you tried to extract a shadow from a real object and failed? Shadows are tricky to manipulate because they're not solid! Here's the solution. We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to make your work easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are for you and easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles, including 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one is a Hard Shadow for sunny scenes and the other is a Soft Shadow for cloudy scenes. They're excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and are noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or its equivalent in any other software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix between Hard and Soft Shadows as you like, depending on your scene's light conditions. Shadow is shadow and will never change.
