How many times have you struggled to create a convincing flat shadow while working on your design? How often did you wish to extract a shadow from an object, only to be left disappointed by the results? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, as they lack solid form. But now, we've got the solution! We've crafted 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion built-in, making it easier than ever to get the look you want. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, our shadows are designed to help you achieve a realistic appearance for your project. The images used in these shadows were originally rendered at an impressive 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. To reduce file size and fit the content ratio, they were carefully cropped. Shadows were captured from multiple angles - 25°, 45°, and straight on - in various directions. We even created two versions of shadow from each object: one for use in sunny scenes (hard shadows) and another for cloudy conditions (soft shadows). These are ideal for both 2D and 3D projects, plus they're completely free of noise. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to your object. Then, simply use any deforming tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or its equivalent in other software) to manipulate the shadow as needed. Video tutorials are available for those who need a bit of guidance. Remember, you can mix and match between hard and soft shadows to achieve the perfect look for your scene - it's all about replicating real-world lighting conditions. Lastly, remember that a shadow is just that: a shadow. It won't change or adapt on its own.
