How often do you struggle to create a convincing flat shadow while working on your design? How many times have you tried extracting a shadow from a real object only to be disappointed with the results? The truth is, shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they lack substance. We've got good news for you - we've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion that will make your job easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of a shadow to enhance your scene, these are the perfect solution for you. They're easy to use and come equipped with everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Our images were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles - 25°, 45°, and from directly above - in multiple directions. We also saved two versions of each shadow: a hard version for sunny scenes and a soft version for cloudy scenes. These are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects, or an equivalent tool in another software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are included.) Note: You can mix and match hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is just that - it won't change regardless of what you do with it.
