How many times do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow while working on your design to make it look more realistic? How often do you want to extract a shadow from a real object, only to fall short? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they aren't solid! Fortunately, we have the solution. We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or even a 3D artist, and you need to add a shadow to your scene, these are for you and easy to use - they contain everything you need to achieve a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles, including 25°, 45°, and directly from above in multiple directions. Two versions of shadow from each object were saved: one is a Hard Shadow used in sunny scenes, and the other is a Soft Shadow used in cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless. Choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or its equivalent in other software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are attached for reference. You can mix and match between Hard and Soft Shadows as you see fit - this is entirely dependent on the light conditions of your scene. In the end, a shadow is a shadow, and it will never change.
