How often do you find yourself needing a separate flat shadow to bring your design to life? How many times have you struggled to extract a shadow from an actual object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they're not solid objects. But we've got the solution for you! We've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to make your work easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these shadows are perfect for you and incredibly easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. Our images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles at 25°, 45°, and from directly above in multiple directions; we saved two versions of the same object's shadow - one for hard shadows used in sunny scenes and another for soft shadows used in cloudy scenes. These are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects and come without any noise. Choose which shadow suits your design best and apply it to the object, then simply use a deformer tool like Photoshop's Transform tool or After Effects' Corner Pin effect (or its equivalent in another software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are included for reference. You can also mix between hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadow remains constant regardless of changes made to it.
