How many times have you struggled to create a convincing flat shadow in your designs? How often did you attempt to extract a realistic shadow from an object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, as they lack solid form. However, we've found a solution that's 100% transparent and includes Ambient Occlusion to simplify the process. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of realistic shadows, these assets are for you and easy to use. Images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles: 25°, 45°, and top-down shots in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: a Hard shadow for sunny scenes and a Soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These assets are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and feature noiseless shadows. Choose the shadow that suits your design and apply it to the object, then use any deformer tool like Photoshop's Transform tool or After Effects' Corner Pin effect, or an equivalent in another software to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached). You can mix Hard and Soft shadows as needed, based on the light conditions of your scene. Shadow is a fundamental element that won't change.
