How many times have you struggled to create a convincing flat shadow while working on your design? How often did you try to extract a shadow from an object in real life, only to fail? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they are inherently non-solid. We've got the solution for you! Our team has developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to make your work easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist who needs to add a shadow to a scene, these shadows are designed specifically for you and are incredibly easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. All images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles @ 25°, 45°, and from directly above in multiple directions; we also saved two versions of the same shadow, one as a Hard shadow for use in sunny scenes and another as a soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These shadows are perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're noiseless to boot! Simply choose which shadow best suits your design, apply it to the object, then use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect (or an equivalent in another software) to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are included.) You can even mix and match between hard and soft shadows as needed, based on the light conditions of your scene. At the end of the day, a shadow is a shadow and will always remain so.
