How often do you struggle to create a convincing flat shadow in your designs? How many times have you attempted to extract a shadow from a real object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they lack substance. The solution is here! We've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion integrated to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects specialist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these are designed for you and easy to use. They contain everything needed to achieve a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were cropped to reduce file size and fit content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles at 25°, 45°, and from the top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadow from each object: a Hard shadow for use in sunny scenes and a Soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and are noiseless. Choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, simply use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect, or its equivalent in other software, to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are provided.) You can mix between Hard and Soft shadows as desired, depending on your scene's light conditions. Shadow is shadow, after all – it never changes.
