Designers often struggle with adding realistic shadows to their work. It can be frustrating when trying to extract a shadow from a real object and failing. The reason is simple - shadows are not solid objects, making them difficult to manipulate. We have developed a solution that makes working with shadows much easier. Our 100% transparent shadows come with ambient occlusion, a feature that helps designers achieve a realistic look without the hassle. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, or visual effects artist, these shadows are perfect for adding depth and realism to your projects. The images we used were rendered at 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25 degrees, 45 degrees, and from top in multiple directions. Two versions of each shadow were created: a hard shadow for sunny scenes and a soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These shadows are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. To use these shadows, simply choose the one that suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or equivalent tools in other software) to deform the shadow. We've included video tutorials for each tutorial. Remember, you can mix hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on your scene's light conditions. Shadow is simply a part of an object's appearance and will never change.
