How many times do you think a realistic shadow was just out of reach when working on your design? How often did you struggle to extract a shadow from a real object, only to fall short? The truth is, shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they are fundamentally intangible. But what if we told you that the solution to this problem has finally arrived? We've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion built right in, making your life easier no matter what your profession may be. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or even a 3D artist, these shadows are for you and incredibly easy to use. They contain everything you need to give your project that coveted realistic look. The images we've created were originally rendered at an impressive 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel, ensuring there's no banding in sight. To make them more manageable, we cropped the images to reduce file size and maintain a consistent content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles - 25°, 45°, and straight on - in various directions. We also created two versions of each shadow: one hard and suitable for sunny scenes, the other soft and perfect for cloudy conditions. These shadows are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects and come with the added benefit of being completely noiseless. Simply choose the shadow that best fits your design, apply it to your object, and then use any deformer tool you like - such as the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects - to deform the shadow into place. Video tutorials are included for your convenience. Here's a little secret: you can mix and match between hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. And remember, shadows remain shadows, forever unchanged.
