How many times have you found yourself needing a perfectly separated flat shadow to make your design look more realistic while working on it? How often did you want to extract a shadow from a real object, only to fall short of achieving the desired result? Shadows are notoriously difficult to manipulate because they aren't solid. However, we've come up with the solution! We've created 100% transparent shadows, complete with Ambient Occlusion, to make your work much easier. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or even a 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these are for you and are incredibly easy to use. They contain everything you need to give your project a realistic look. The images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce the file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from directly above in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadow from each object: one is a Hard shadow used in sunny scenes, and the other is a soft shadow used in cloudy scenes. They're perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're completely noiseless. Simply choose which shadow suits your design and apply it to the object, then use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or its equivalent in any other software) to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are attached.) You can mix between hard and soft shadows as you see fit, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, remember that a shadow is a shadow and will never change.
