How often do designers struggle to create a believable flat shadow in their work? How many times have you attempted to extract a shadow from an object, only to fall short of the desired result? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they are not solid objects. However, we've developed a solution that makes creating realistic shadows easier than ever. Our 100% transparent shadows feature Ambient Occlusion, allowing designers to work more efficiently. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of high-quality shadows, these assets are perfect for you. They come equipped with everything necessary to achieve a realistic look for your project. Images were rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. To reduce file size and maintain content ratio, they were cropped. Shadows were captured from various angles - 25°, 45°, and top views in multiple directions. Two versions of each shadow are included: a hard shadow for sunny scenes and a soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These shadows are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are free from noise. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object. Then, use any deformer tool available, such as Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect, to deform the shadow (video tutorials attached). Feel free to mix between hard and soft shadows based on the light conditions of your scene. Regardless of the software used, a shadow remains a shadow and will always behave accordingly.
