We all know how frustrating it can be when you're working on a design and need to add a convincing shadow, only to struggle with making it look realistic. We've been there too! That's why we created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion, making your life easier as a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist. Whether you're working on a project that requires a shadow or just want to add some depth, these shadows are perfect for the job. Images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, and then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles (25°, 45°, and top) in multiple directions, resulting in two versions of shadow from each object: one hard for sunny scenes and another soft for cloudy scenes. These shadows are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design best and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or equivalent tools in other software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are attached for a step-by-step guide. Remember, you can mix and match hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on the light conditions of your scene. And the best part? Shadows will always be shadows - they're timeless!
