3D Shadow - Rock 07

How many times do designers need to add a separate flat shadow to make their design look more realistic? How often do artists struggle to extract a shadow from a real object and fail? Shadows can be tricky to manipulate because they're not solid objects. That's why we've created 100% transparent shadows with Ambient occlusion, making it easier for designers, cartoonists, visual effects artists, compositors, or 3D artists to add a realistic look to their projects. Images were rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles: 25°, 45°, and from top in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow - one hard for sunny scenes and another soft for cloudy scenes. Both are perfect for use in 2D and 3D projects, with no noise. Choose the right shadow for your design and apply it to the object. Then, use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect, or their equivalents in other software, to deform the shadow (Video tutorials attached). You can mix hard and soft shadows as you like, depending on your scene's light conditions. Shadows are static - they never change.
