How often do designers struggle with creating realistic shadows in their work? How many times have they attempted to extract a shadow from an object only to be left disappointed? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, as they lack the solidity of other design elements. That's where our solution comes in – 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion, designed to make your work easier and more efficient. Whether you're a seasoned designer, cartoon artist, visual effects expert, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are perfect for you. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project, and they're incredibly easy to use. Our images were originally rendered at an impressive 2000 x 2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. We then cropped them to reduce the file size and ensure they fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles – 25°, 45°, and directly from above – in various directions. We also created two versions of each shadow: one for sunny scenes (hard shadows) and another for cloudy scenes (soft shadows). These are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and they're completely noise-free. Choose the shadow that best suits your design and apply it to the object. From there, simply use a deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect (or equivalent tools in other software) to deform the shadow as needed. We've included video tutorials to guide you through this process. Remember, the type of light conditions your scene is under will determine which shadow works best – so feel free to mix and match between hard and soft shadows to achieve the desired effect. At its core, a shadow remains a shadow – it won't change regardless of how you use it. So go ahead and experiment with our 100% transparent shadows, featuring Ambient Occlusion, and take your designs to the next level.
