How many times have you struggled to create a realistic flat shadow while working on your design? How often have you wanted to extract a shadow from a real object, only to be foiled by its intangible nature? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate, as they lack the solidity of physical objects. The solution is here! We've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion added to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of a shadow for your scene, these are for you and easy to use, containing everything needed to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. They were then cropped to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from above in multiple directions. We saved two versions of shadow from each object: one is a Hard Shadow used in sunny scenes and the other is a Soft Shadow used in cloudy scenes. Both are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. Choose the shadow that suits your design, apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects (or its equivalent in other software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are provided. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows as needed, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Shadow is, after all, just shadow - unchanging and unadulterated.
