3D Shadow - Rock 03

How often do you need to create a convincing flat shadow in your design work? How many times have you struggled to extract a realistic shadow from an object, only to fall short? Shadows are notoriously tricky to manipulate because they lack substance. Well, we've got the solution for you! We've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion, designed to simplify your workflow. Whether you're a designer, cartoonist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist, these shadows are perfect for adding depth and realism to your scenes. They're easy to use, contain everything you need, and are available in two versions: one for sunny scenes and another for cloudy conditions. Our images were originally rendered at an incredibly high resolution of 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit color depth per channel, ensuring no banding issues. We then cropped them to reduce file size and fit the content ratio. Shadows were captured from various angles (25°, 45°, and top-down) in multiple directions. We saved two versions of each shadow: one for hard shadows used in sunny scenes and another for soft shadows used in cloudy conditions. These shadows are ideal for use in both 2D and 3D projects and are completely noise-free. Choose the shadow that suits your design best, apply it to your object, and then use any deformer tool (like Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect) to deform the shadow as needed. Video tutorials are available for reference. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows to create a realistic look that matches your scene's lighting conditions. Remember, a good shadow is always convincing!
