How many times have you struggled to create a realistic shadow while working on your design? How often did you try to extract a shadow from a real object, only to be left disappointed? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they lack solidity. That's why we've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient Occlusion to simplify the process. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor, or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these shadows are designed specifically for you and are incredibly easy to use. They contain everything you need to create a realistic look for your project. The images used to create these shadows were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding. To reduce file size and fit the content ratio, they were then cropped. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45°, and from directly above - in multiple directions. Two versions of each shadow were saved: a Hard Shadow suitable for sunny scenes and a Soft Shadow ideal for cloudy scenes. Both are excellent for use in 2D and 3D projects and are completely noiseless. To apply the shadows to your design, simply choose which one suits your needs and then use any deformer tool available - such as the "Transform" tool in Photoshop or the "Corner Pin" effect in After Effects - or its equivalent in another software. Video tutorials demonstrating this process can be found below. Note that you're free to mix and match Hard and Soft Shadows as desired, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. The beauty of these shadows lies in their adaptability and versatility. Ultimately, a shadow is a shadow and remains unchanged, regardless of how it's used or manipulated.
