3D Shadow - Product 41

How many times have designers needed a separate flat shadow to make their designs look more realistic? How often did they struggle to extract a shadow from a real object, only to come up short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to manipulate because they aren't solid objects! That's why we've developed 100% transparent shadows with Ambient occlusion added to simplify the process. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects artist, compositor or 3D artist in need of adding a shadow to your scene, these shadows are designed for you and easy to use. They contain everything needed to create a realistic look for your project. Images were originally rendered at 2000x2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped to reduce file size and fit content ratio. Shadows were captured from different angles - 25°, 45° and top-down in multiple directions - resulting in two versions of shadow from the same object: one hard shadow for sunny scenes and one soft shadow for cloudy scenes. These shadows are excellent for use in both 2D and 3D projects, and are completely noiseless. Choose which shadow best suits your design and apply it to the object, then simply use any deformer tool like Photoshop's "Transform" tool or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect (or equivalent software) to deform the shadow. Video tutorials are provided for easy reference. You can mix and match hard and soft shadows as desired, depending on the light conditions of your scene. Finally, remember that a shadow is just a shadow - it won't change.
