3D Shadow - Product 30
3docean
How many times have you struggled with adding a convincing flat shadow to your design? How often have you attempted to extract a realistic shadow from an object, only to fall short? Shadows can be notoriously difficult to work with, as they lack substance. That's why we're thrilled to present our 100% transparent shadows, complete with Ambient Occlusion to simplify the process. Whether you're a designer, cartoon artist, visual effects specialist, compositor, or 3D artist, these versatile shadows are designed to make your life easier and add realism to any scene. Our images were meticulously rendered at 2000×2000 pixels with 16-bit depth per channel to prevent banding, then cropped for optimal file size and content ratio. Shadows were captured from multiple angles – 25°, 45°, and directly overhead – in various directions. We even saved two versions of each shadow: a Hard Shadow suitable for sunny scenes and a Soft Shadow ideal for cloudy conditions. These are perfect for use in both 2D and 3D projects, with the added benefit of being completely noiseless. Simply choose the shadow that best suits your design, apply it to the object, and use any deformer tool – such as Photoshop's "Transform" or After Effects' "Corner Pin" effect – to deform the shadow. (Video tutorials are conveniently attached for easy reference.) Feel free to mix and match between Hard and Soft shadows as needed, depending on the lighting conditions of your scene. Remember, a shadow is a shadow and will always remain so.
